Italian Ambassador Maurizio Massari will join our patron members at an exclusive dinner to share his remarks about the Italian elections and their implications for Italy and further European politics.

Ambassador | Italian Permanent Representation to the EU

Ambassador Massari was appointed Permanent Representative of Italy to the European Union in May 2016. During his diplomatic career which spanned for more than 30 years, he served in numerous postings in Washington, London Rome, as well as Moscow. In 2012, he was the Special Envoy of the Italian Foreign Minister for the Mediterranean and the Middle East and later on Ambassador of Italy to Egypt. From 2003 to 2006, he served as OSCE Ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro. Ambassador Massari has a degree in Political Science from the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, and advanced specialisations in International Affairs from Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University.
