At this EU Committee evening briefing Dan Sobovitz, Speechwriter & Digital Communication Strategist of Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, will talk us through connecting with EU citizens through social media.

Dan has led the digital presence and publications of the Vice President of the European Commission for the past 3 years. Previously, he had worked on large-scale digital campaigns with various international organisations, such as the EU Humanitarian Aid Dept. (DG ECHO), UNICEF, UNESCO, the Slovak Foreign Ministry, and others. In 2013, he co-founded ‘Ceci n’est pas une crise’, a civil society organisation which analyses the current wave of populist parties and advocates for an inclusive and tolerant alternative.
