Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU
Merili Oja has been practicing law since 2009. She has covered various topics while working in private as well as in public sector, including intellectual property law. For the last 3 years she has been more extensively involved in the EU legislative procedure. Since May 2015 she is one of the Counsellors for Judicial Affairs at the Estonian Permanent Representation to the EU. Among other topics she is in charge of the intellectual property files, including the copyright reform and will keep this topic also during the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
