The Great Brussels Charity Bake Off 2018 is being postponed to a later date after the summer.

The new date will be communicated in the coming weeks.

The Great Brussels Charity Bake Off is a charity baking competition open to everyone and organised every year by the young professional network of the British Chamber called Brussels New Generation (BNG). BNG aims to offer networking opportunities and relevant professional development to young professionals in Brussels as well as organising Charity events as part of the British Chamber CSR programme.

This event is raising money for the Community Help Service (CHS), a Brussels-based non-profit organisation that provides a free 24/7 confidential English-speaking Helpline. Click here for more information.

The Bake Off - Bake to Basics!

The Bake Off is back for the 6th year in a row and this year we are going back to baking basics.
After the sugar paste feast of the past editions, induced by our wacky themes and categories, we thought that coming back to the basic art of baking would be a nice change.
This edition is therefore set to put your baking skills to the test and as usual it is for a great cause!
Grab your friends and/or colleagues and start practising your sponge and other baking staple.

Community Help Service (CHS) is a Brussels-based non-profit organisation that provides a free 24/7 confidential Helpline to anyone who needs support or information and prefers or finds it easier to speak in English. It provides callers with immediate and relevant information and support. The Helpline volunteers (trained, supported and supervised by mental health care professionals) responded to over 3,400 telephone calls during 2015.

A team of professionals working with CHS also provides longer term mental health services for children, adolescents and adults as well as educational assessments for children. Its Mental Health Centre had more than 700 new clients from almost 40 nationalities during 2015.

CHS has no government financial support and relies on fund raising, contributions, donations, advertising and promotional sales to continue their work. Help us raise money for CHS and support the wonderful work it is doing.
